Contact Us
The inbox behind this site is a single mailbox, info@milanfood.tours, and every message lands with whoever wrote the pages. No ticket system, no form reply, no bot. Whether you spotted a price that has moved or a tour we somehow missed, you get a hand-written answer, usually within a day or two.
What lands in the inbox:
- A from-price that has moved. The cards on this site quote the figure the live listing carried when the card was written, and operators shift those numbers with the season, the group size and the occasional timed discount. When a card and the booking page disagree, the page wins, and a reader report gets the card fixed fast.
- An itinerary that no longer matches. A market stop swapped for a different stall, a tasting quietly dropped, a meeting point moved two streets over to another piazza: these go to the top of the pile, because somebody is planning a whole morning or evening around that detail and deserves the current version.
- Anything factually wrong. What a ticket actually feeds you, how the cancellation window really works, which experiences happen around a private home table rather than a restaurant, and which two days out do not start in Milan at all. Corrections like these get made the same week.
- A tour we have missed. Any bookable Milan food tour, tasting walk or cooking class with a published price and a listing that holds up under a careful read is worth knowing about. Send the link, it costs nothing, and the answer comes back as a plain yes or no.
- Whatever the FAQ and the guides do not answer.
How We Reply
Factual slips go first: a cooking class filed under the wrong category or a cancellation term described wrongly is fixed within a day or two of arriving. Broader questions, like which of the six kinds of day suits a slow walker, take longer and sometimes turn into a guide instead of a reply. What never happens is a newsletter, a sales pitch, or your address landing on a list.
The Limits
No reservation can be made here, no date moved, no refund chased. The 24 experiences on this site belong to the operators named on their cards, from Pink Umbrella Tours to Cesarine, and every payment runs through the operator's own listing. This site compares and points; the money never passes through it.
Already booked? The confirmation email is the document that matters. It carries the reference number, the meeting point and a direct line to the operator, and only that channel can handle the things a booking actually throws up: running late, a dietary question, or where exactly the guide is standing in the piazza.
Two details on the confirmation deserve a close read. The first is the meeting arrangement: most listings name a church door, a piazza or a shopfront, but some send the exact address only after booking, and two meet outside Milan altogether, at Como by the cathedral and at Reggio Emilia AV Mediopadana station. The second is the cancellation window, which varies by operator. On both counts the live booking page is the authority, and it outranks anything written here.
Not sure which day suits you yet? The homepage breaks the six kinds of food tour side by side, and the guides under /guides/ cover everything from aperitivo hours to free things to do in Milan.
